Description
Clivia nobilis, or Eastern Cape Clivia, has flowers tipped in green, with large, flattish inflorescences that carry about 40 – 60 flower. The leaf size changes according to the amount of light it receives, being shorter in light shade, and growing longer and more upright in deeper shade. This is the slowest of the Clivia species to flower, often taking up to 6 years from seed germination to flowering. It is frost tender.
