Description

This is a succulent shrublet, usually low-growing, but can grow to 30 cm. Emerald- green leaves are barrel-shaped that bristle with soft, spine-like white hairs. The resemblance to a pickle is easy to see. Tiny pale yellow to cream flowers open between the bristly leaves as if pinned there.
